I became a celebrant after I spoke at my best friend's wedding and was blown away by the love and experience of being involved in her day. It's honestly a huge privilege to stand alongside each couple as they make it official. Being surrounded by so much love and positivity makes being a celebrant pretty amazing!
"On the day, even though there were some unforeseen events Kim remained confident, composed and gave us and our guests an amazing ceremony."

All my life I've been a creative. I hold a Bachelor of Performing Arts with First Class Honours in Drama, a Diploma of Education, and a Cert IV in Celebrancy. Twenty years experience as a theatre performer, ten years of drama teaching, and five years as a celebrant means I'm well and truly comfortable and confident in front of people, and can smoothly deal with all kinds of unforeseen happenings!!
I was born in Bangladesh and feel so lucky to have been adopted as a small bub into an awesome Aussie family. Having lived overseas and travelled throughout the UK, Europe and South East Asia, I have a deep appreciation of cultural difference.
When I'm not celebranting, I'm in my floral studio with the buckets of blooms, or out hiking (my new fave thing) with my husband and dog, or planning our next travel adventure. We're off to Japan next year in January and back over to Europe in June. Travel inspires and challenges me and I always come back feeling like I've changed and grown.
